Description
In the morning, we will board a bus and travel to the Itabaca Channel to visit the Mosquera islet. While snorkeling, we can wonder at the sight of marine iguanas swimming or feeding underwater on this stunning coral beach, which is home to colonies of Galapagos sea lions, a few swallow-tailed gulls, and other wildlife. What a wonderful way to start off our adventure today!
Afterwards, bus transportation will take back us to the Itabaca Channel, where we'll board the Galaxy Daily. We will land safely in North Seymour and begin hiking right away on a 2.5 km (1.55 miles) route. We can either hike the track counterclockwise along the coast or first hike inland to see the blue footed booby colony. Prepare to see marine and land iguanas, as well as a population of sea lions, lava lizards, frigates, and pelicans!
