Day 4: Quilotoa the Emerald Lake

Continuing the trip you will drive through various indigenous villages of the area, which provide a fantastic chance to see the true Ecuador. The highlight of the day awaits at the Quilotoa Crater Lake. You can soak in the breathtaking views and the natural beauty of the area with a two-hour walk down to the Laguna. For those wanting a bit more adventure, you can go kayaking in the clear lake before hiking back up.
Days 5–8: Immersion in the Amazon Rainforest
Go to Lago Agrio by bus to experience the heart of the Amazon Rainforest.
