10 Day Visiting Coffee region, Medellin and the Caribbean

Tour Details

Day 1: Bogota

9:00 AM Your local guide will pick you up at the hotel and then walk you through the bohemian streets of the city center to the place where the bikes are (Approx 10 minutes’ walk). Then you will start an adventure through the city in South America with the most bicycle lines! You will be able to see different areas of the city and learn about the history of Colombia. During the tour you will also make a stop at an amazing food market where you will be able to taste lots of nice and fresh fruits produced in the countryside! Tour lasts 3/4 hours.

Day 2: Salento

5:45 AM Transfer to airport. 7:48 AM Flight to Pereira. Transfer to Salento (Aprox. 1 hour drive) which is a magical town filled with tasty coffee shops, stores and restaurants, in the afternoon you will play tejo which is a fun local game were the objective is to explode gunpowder! :)

Activities: Tejo game + one beer + 2 transfers

Day 3: Manizales

7:30 AM This day you will discover one of the most beautiful valleys that holds the tallest palm trees that exist! You will be amazed by it and the walk to get there is also such an adventure filled with nature and birds! (Jeep transfer + lunch). 3:00 PM Transfer to coffee farm (Aprox. 2 hrs drive)

Activities: Cocora tour + transfer

Day 4: Manizales

9:45 AM Coffee tour (2 hrs) This day you will learn all the process of the tasty beverage that wakes us up every morning! You will be able to see the plantation, and every step until it is served to your cup while learning why Colombian coffee is so unique!

Day 5: Medellin

11:00 AM This day you will go with a private transfer through a beautiful scenery filled with fields and valleys to Medellin, a city once considered a very dangerous place and now home of many entrepreneurs that fell in love with the weather and charm of the city. (Approx. 4 hrs drive)

Activities: Private transfer (not public)

Day 6: Medellin

7:30 AM Apart from Coffee, Colombia is also known for the beautiful flowers produced in different regions which are mainly exported to filled peoples homes and events on special locations and this day you will be able to learn everything about it during the Santa Elena flower tour. At 2:30 PM You will go to the Comuna 13 to see how the city was able to transform and change the way they were living and interacting with each other. It is such a great life changing story worth knowing!

Activities: Santa Elena tour to flower farm + Comuna 13 tour

Day 7: Medellin

This free day you can enjoy it having a good coffee at a nice coffee shop near the hotel, go on an optional tour to discover other places near the city or relax at your hotel terrace!

Day 8: Cartagena

7:30 AM Transfer to airport. 10:00 AM Flight to Cartagena. Transfer to hotel. At 5:30 PM you have a reservation at Cafe del Mar which is the best spot in Cartagena to see the Caribbean sunset while drinking a refreshing cocktail! :p

Activities: 2 transfers + Cafe del mar reservation 

Day 9: Cartagena

8:00 AM This day you will take a speed boat to the Rosario Islands where you will be able to jump in the crystalline water of this beautiful area and snorkel while getting a nice tan! You will be back in Cartagena at around 3/4 PM

Activities: Speed boat + Snorkels

Day 10: Cartagena

Today after breakfast we will organize the transfers out to the Airport in Cartagena according to the flight information of the clients.
